Be the First Person Killed On Pariah Island - Cameo Role Contest!

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES & CONTEST PRIVACY POLICY

Submission to this contest shall be contingent upon the agreement by the Entrant to all of the following rules, terms and conditions:

1. GENERAL OVERVIEW AND PRIZE

Guests to the PariahIsland.com website may submit an "audition video" describing why they want to be on "Pariah Island" (the fictional reality TV show). The video will then be voted on by other website guests; the user whose video has the highest resulting vote count wins a trip for two to Orlando FL, and a speaking role in the pilot episode of Pariah Island (the real show, which is a scripted parody of reality TV shows such as Survivor or Big Brother).

2. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS

Voting may be done by any member of the general public, anywhere in the world. Voting requires registration utilizing a current and valid e-mail address. A voter may vote as many times as he/she likes.

Submitting a video requires registration, also requiring a current and valid e-mail address. Individuals submitting a video for consideration are hereafter referred to as "Entrants".

Entrants must be 18 years of age or older, and must reside in the 48 contigious United States, and reside in a state where this contest is not otherwise prohibited.

3. REQUIREMENTS FOR VIDEO SUBMISSIONS

Submitted videos should be presented as an "audition tape" for the entrant as if he/she were interested in participating in a "real" reality TV show called Pariah Island. Entrants must understand that Pariah Island is not a real reality TV program, but a scripted parody of such programs. The content of the audition videos should endeavor to expand on the fictional universe behind the "fake" Pariah Island program.

Videos must be 2 minutes or less in length, with the total run time to be calculated INCLUDING credits or title cards. Videos over 2 minutes may be disqualified at the sole discretion of The Red Band Film Company LLC.

Videos MUST be submitted via YouTube, with the YouTube "embed" code provided in order to be eligible for the contest. Videos sent directly to the website or contest operators, or videos submitted through a video site other than YouTube, will be disqualified.

Videos may not include objectionable material. A "PG13" guideline should be maintained. Profanity or nudity must be digitally masked (bleeped, pixelated, etc.) Videos containing any of the following will be grounds for disqualification: explicit sexual content, hate speech, overt violence, pornography, defamatory statements, libel/slander, violations of trademark or copyright, illegal content, or other objectionable content. Videos may be disqualified at the sole discretion of The Red Band Film Company LLC. Disqualified videos will be deleted without warning or comment.

Entrants agree that no financial compensation of any kind will be forthcoming for any use of the submitted videos by The Red Band Film Company LLC, Pariah Island Project LLC or it partners or any other entity.

All videos become the property of The Red Band Film Company LLC and may be used in future related projects without compensation to the entrant and/or creator(s).

4. REQUIREMENTS FOR WINNER

Winner must be willing to undergo at least one to two days of filming under hot Florida sun, on a professional working set. Entrant agrees that he/she will conduct themselves in a profesional manner at all times during shooting; any unprofessional behaviour, or acts of willful misconduct, or any actions which put the actors, sets, equipment, crew, or production in jeopardy of any kind will result in revocation of the award, and the offending entrant may be liable for the cost of airfare and lodging, fees associated with equipment or property loss or damage, and up to $100,000 in liquidated damages to the production.

Registration requires the submittal to The Red Band Film Company LLC of the following personally-identifiable information: name, email address, and IP address. Logs and databases are maintained of all information submitted.

Email addresses will only be used for updates regarding this contest, Pariah Island program updates and Pariah Island o Red Band Film Co. LLC information. Occasionally, invitations may be sent to these email addresses to opt into additional lists. An opt-out mechanism will be included in all communications.

Email addresses will not be used for any purpose other than that stated, and will not be sold, transmitted, leased, or otherwise provided to any other third party.

IP addresses will be logged for the purposes of identifying abuse, and will be provided to law enforcement in the event of criminal abuse or other protective measures.
